I can't seem to get off the internet lately. I'll be playing with the kids or cleaning up the kitchen when I start to get the itch - Gotta check my facebook page, did he email me back? Has anyone else started following me on Twitter? I'm an undercover ludite. I resisted facebook for at least a year before I caved. I didn't even have the internet in my house two years ago. I guess I knew I was prone to this kind of addiction. Can anybody relate?
I have a very hard time working with my computer and not surfing the internet at times, so I totally relate! I probably check in on facebook and email ten times a day, too, though I don't do twitter. I did once upon a time, but got bored with it. I'm excited that you have a blog now though!! <3
ReplyDeleteYes, I totally relate! My laptop is in the living room and its always on so I'm always popping over for a wee peek! (Even in the midst of cooking supper). I think everyone who uses social media is like that. It's part of the connection.
ReplyDeleteWhen I sit down to write, I have to force myself not to go on it (er...like now. I was originally supposed to be writing but then hopped on Twitter just to check and here I am on your blog!).
Sometimes I have to be more severe with myself but other times I just find it funny. I've made a lot of great connections thru Twitter and blogging as both a writer and a teacher. Its more positive than anything, so I don't mind so much!
Nice to have met you!
